I parked my car in the gated garage and entered through the back door. Welton met me at the elevator after I arrived late, made checking in effortless. I swam in the heated indoor pool each morning before I walked to the restaurants along the river.

Graduation bags at the exit

I picked up complimentary goodie bags at the front desk when I checked out after my stay. We found the location right on the grounds of Fort Moore perfect for visiting our soldier. I drank coffee at the 24-hour station in the lobby while I waited for my family to get ready in our room.

Swings at the seventh floor bar

I sat on the swings at the Eighteen 85 rooftop lounge while I looked over the Chattahoochee River. My room had large windows with a clear river view, and I ate breakfast at the on-site restaurant the next morning. I walked along the Riverwalk for exercise after I finished my coffee in the room.

Grilling in the courtyard

I cooked meals on the outdoor grill while my family relaxed by the fire pit in the courtyard. My suite included a full kitchen with appliances which allowed me to prepare food throughout my five nights. The separate living area provided enough space for everyone to spread out after a day spent navigating to the base.

Outdoor swimming behind the building

I swam in the outdoor pool located out back during my five-night stay. Quincy replaced the air conditioning unit in my room within thirty minutes after I reported an issue. I enjoyed the breakfast spread while the attendant kept the food well stocked throughout the morning.

Hot meals during the afternoon social hour

I enjoyed free drinks and food during the afternoon social hour held Monday through Wednesday. I cooked my own dinner using the full kitchen inside my suite, which came with all the necessary appliances. I also used the free laundry room located on site to wash my clothes during the stay.

Espresso machine by the river

I accessed the automatic espresso machine in the lobby at all hours during my stay. I walked along the Riverwalk which runs right past the converted grain mill and watched the Chattahoochee from my room window. My breakfast included carrot muffins before I spent the afternoon on the outdoor patio.

Games and grill in the backyard

I grilled dinner on the outdoor bbq grill while my kids played with the outside games in the backyard. The home had a keurig and an air fryer for our use in the kitchen. I watched tv in my room after a day at Ft. Benning.
